Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On October 17th, a team from Argos will be undertaking a huge challenge to raise money for the very worthy Rossendale Hospice. Dan, Tom, Matty and Nathan will be taking part in the Sabre Challenge, and with a combined age of over 200 years, this is no mean feat.. They will face a gruelling 8 mile run over very tough, hilly terrain and to add to the difficulty, also have seven team challenges on the way where they will demonstrate their strength, intelligence and coordination skills (or maybe not?!). We are very proud of them volunteering to represent our region, and they deserve all the support we can give, but at this stage, it's mainly financial support we need!  The first aid support will be needed after the race. The last medal they won was for 'Taking Part', so lets get behind them and encourage them all the way to the finish line.

We hope all stores on the region will be willing to hold fundraisers to donate to the site, and badger your store managers to dig deep and pay in. If every store raised just £50 then we'd hit target, but we know you can do so much better than this and lets aim for £100!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
