The WAM Campaign is a registered charity which aims to facilitate volunteering programmes for young people, helping to expose deserving children (orphans and vulnerable children) living in Ghana to opportunities they may be socially marginalised from.

Story

In December we’re giving up our Christmas to go to Ghana to coordinate a volunteer programme supporting orphans & vulnerable children.

Over the festive period we will be supporting a local community school in Ghana by cleaning and painting the school classrooms, coordinating activities & hopefully installing a new water tank for the kids.

We just need to get there now, and when need your help please

We are fundraising to get flights to Ghana to make this happen an will be doing the following activities to raise funds and raise awareness of WAM's cause:

30th November:
Walking from Ghana High Commission to one of Ghana's finest barber shops in Camberwell
After this we will be doing a 6 lap swim followed by a 3 mile run
Non stop! All on the same day!
We will be stopping off in Gold Coast to recouparate and have our last supper before our next fundraising exericse begins on the 1st December:

1st December - 5th December:
We will be going without food from 6am to 6pm!

25 November - 23rd December
Oh, and we are not cutting our hair or shaving until we get to Ghana, but we need your help to make that possible please
