Story

Planet Mercy is an innovative and productive non-profit organisation which has one simple goal- to serve humanity and build community relations through concepts of love, mercy, tolerance and cohesion.

Planet Mercy aims to educate, offer solutions and guide people and also provide a friendly atmosphere for personal and community development.

An ethos we endorse wholeheartedly is that of community cohesion by focusing on a range of projects throughout the community with the aim of making positive contributions to all and sundry.

The organisation started its grassroots work in 2008 in the North (Oldham, Rochdale and Bradford), where monthly food kitchens were arranged to feed the homeless, destitute and refugees.
This further branched out into family fun days for local people, community workshops including, monthly dinners and entertainment programmes to help build the bridge between communities.

Planet Mercy also delivers on educational programmes such as parenting, domestic violence, child trafficking and much more.
We work in collaboration with a number of other organisations, including the Oldham Baptist Church, Oldham Unity, Big Issue, British Red Cross, MYMN (Meet Your Muslim Neighbour), Trussells Trust Foodbank and numerous local groups.

Planet Mercy is managed by a dynamic team of volunteers from different backgrounds spread across various parts of the UK.
At present, we have a broad range of projects running in Glasgow, Oldham, Rochdale, Bradford, Peterborough, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby and London.
