Young Fight For Life's "A Kids Walk For Life" · 5 July 2015 ·

The Fight for Life children's cancer fund (part of UCLH Charity) raises money to treat children at the new University College Hospital Euston Road, London. In addition to equipment we provide a play area and a wonderful play therapist help to make the unit 'kid friendly' and much less scary.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Fight for life was formed in 1996 to raise funds to build a children’s radiotherapy unit at the Middlesex Hospital and later at the University College Hospital in London.  Our dedicated unit has it's own children’s play area and waiting room, to give some breathing space whilst waiting for their treatment. All this has meant that the children under our care have been treated to the very highest standards, and the unit can now claim to be a world-class pediatrics cancer treatment centre. As far as we are aware, there is no other similar facility anywhere in the UK, with such a wide range of expertise and modern equipment.

Fight for Life is staffed solely by volunteers and ALL contributions go directly to the fund.
