Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Ashe's JustGiving page.

Ashe have got 9 riders entering the Extra Mile Bike to the Future Challenge this year. Returning from last year are; Richard Clay, Chris Stancombe, Andy Wright and Matt Brandon. Our new team this year consists of; Robin Blake, Neil Blake, Dan Armes and Shelly Harper. Also riding from Ashe this year is veteran Extra Mile challenger Andy Morris who has participated in the event for the last 13 years.

This year Ashe are fundraising for 3 excellent causes; Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer's Society and North Herts Sanctuary

These are 3 excellent causes and between the 9 riders and the rest of Ashe's staff there are many reasons why we have chosen these 3.

  • Cancer Research UK - More than one in two people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime.

  • Alzheimer's Society - 850,000 people live with dementia in the UK.

  • North Herts Sanctuary - Based just 2 minutes walk from Ashe in Hitchin, it is open seven nights a week, providing shelter and targeted support to people in need to help them gain the skills and resources to achieve independent living.
