The Woburn Abbey Triathlon is raising money for charity through providing a unique multi sport event. Encouraging people of all ages to take part, get fit and help others. All profits raised at the event will be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital & Melanoma Focus Cancer Research.

I have been running, cycling and swimming to keep fit, mentally and physically.  I decided to do a triathlon because it is something I have always been interested in doing and in the process raise funds for two very important charities. 

Melanoma Focus are heavily involved in the Woburn Abbey Triathlon, and Melanoma Focus was my obvious choice who to raise money for.   I am also fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital.  This is another charity Tracy was so keen to support.  Particularly, by supporting Melanoma Focus, we are keeping Tracy's wish to raise funds and awareness for finding a cure for Melanoma.

My gorgeous, brave nephew, Alexander is also competing in the Junior Triathlon, whilst my two friends, Lesley and Vicki are joining me in the 'Sprint Section'.  This means we are swimming 800 meters in an open lake, cycling 20km and running 5km.
