Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who don't know I work for Fresenius Kabi and each year we nominate a charity to raise money for - this year's charity is The Bobby Moore Fund, which is dedicated to raising money for research into Bowel Cancer, which Bobby sadly died from on 24th February 1993 aged just 51.

The task we have all agreed to take part in is a Dragon Boat race along the famous Oxford-Cambridge boat race course (The Tideway Course). This isn't happening on a hot sunny July afternoon, it's happening next Wednesday - 20th January! I think you will agree that considering the current climate, this is a heroic act. Therefore I am asking you to dig deep and donate a bit of cash for what is a very good cause.

As is typical of me, I have left this until the last minute, so donate NOW!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Cheers

Ash
