Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've chosen to run the Derby 10k this year, as personal acheivement for myself, but also to raise awareness of a great cause.

A friend and colleague has a young daughter with Hemiplegia and whilst nothing stops her, she has, and will need, specialist support throughout her life. She visits the Bobath Centre in London, once a year, at great cost to her parents, for unrivalled specialist care, and like many specialist centres, they rely heavily on funding.

The centre provides specialist training and therapy to adults, children, parents and carers, on all aspects of Cerebral Palsy and associated neurological conditions, including Hemiplegia.

Their aim is to improve the independence, health and well being of all living with these conditions as well as those caring for them.

Please dig as little or as deep as you can to support this amazing centre, I know they, (and my friend!) would be very grateful!!!
