Ready to take on the UK 3 Peaks, Everest Base Camp, or another adventure challenge for Shout?

Story

Hello everyone,

In what might be the most bizarre move of my life, I've decided to climb some mountains (the 3 highest peaks in the UK no less - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) with two close friends, in one weekend, one week before my 30th birthday.

Those who know me well (or have even met me once) know that I am NOT active like that. However they'd also know that mental health services hold a special place in my heart, and that's the reason why I'm doing this - I'm honoured to be raising money for Shout, a brilliant service that I've spoken about in workshops/presentations and recommended to so many patients, particularly young people.

For those who don't know, Shout is the UK's only free 24/7 text service for anyone struggling to cope with their mental health. They respond to 2,000 requests for support every day and have taken over 1.7 million conversations with people who are anxious, depressed or suicidal. Anyone can text them anytime on 85258.

Every £10 Shout receives can pay for a conversation with someone in crisis, and could save a life. £25 can help them reach disadvantaged communities that most need mental health support. £50 means that five children, young people and adults could receive potentially life-saving help.

So if you would like to help support this incredible charity, or just want to watch me suffer (and I know some of you definitely do), I'd really appreciate any donation!

Much love ❤️🗻🏔⛰️

Ashley
