Running the Dubai Marathon for Macmillan Nurses!

Hello everybody!
I have really bad knees.
I'm just putting that out there so as to garner some initial sympathy for my cause...
Some of you already know that I'm running this year's Dubai Marathon (on Jan 21st).
And some of you already know that I'm a bit keen on McDonald's breakfasts.
But, with these, two, seemingly irreconcilable facts in mind, there is nevertheless a very good possibility I will make it round in one piece.
I would be very grateful if you would donate as much as you can to Macmillan nurses, who provide palliative care to terminal cancer patients.
Here is some info on the work they do:

My dad died of liver cancer in 2002, but his final days were made a lot easier by these guys, and they really helped my whole family, when his time was coming to an end.
This is a great opportunity for you to watch me suffer ridiculously AND donate money to these great nurses, who's unenviable job is to make the lives of terminally ill people as rich and respectable as possible. Not an easy thing to do.
Thanks again, and for my part I promise to train hard and get round with a big smile on my face!
Cheers,
Ashraf.
