The What

I'm taking 3 months leave from work to join Raleigh as a project manager next January. I will be working on one of their projects in Nicaragua and Costa Rica alongside local communities and leading a group of young volunteers. 

The Why

Raleigh changes the lives of young people and communities worldwide, by running sustainable development projects in some of the world's most disadvantaged communities. 

helps young people  from all walks of life including many from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop team work and leadership skills, a sense of responsibility and life purpose.

I have committed to raise £1100 by 30th November 2010 for Raleigh as part of my role. Every penny of your donation will go directly to Raleigh helping to fund the development and materials for projects as well as bursaries for participants from the host country and disadvantaged young people from the UK. 

Action Plan

Tickets cost £1 each (or £10 for 15) and the raffle will be drawn on Thurs 9th December at Ministry Of Defense Abbey Wood.Please buy some. If you send me your address  I will post the tickets equivalen to what you donate on my justgiving page!
