A mother having such connection with the unborn is a fascinating feeling from pre-natal through to anti-natal care, which unfortunately a lot of pregnant women in Bangladesh never get to experience."

Over 75% percent of women in Bangladesh give birth at home without any assistance from trained midwives, due to non-existence of maternal care facilities. Lack of such facilities is the main factor of the high maternal mortality rate. 

You would be pleased to know that with the help and support of everyone, we completed the second phase construction of the much needed maternity clinic in Jaganathpur, Sunamgonj, a unique project first of its kind in that region.

We urgently require another £50,000 in order to complete the construction phase, so I appeal to everyone to contribute something to this much needy project.
