City Challenge · 21 April 2007 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thank you for coming to my sponsorship page, please dig deep!

We are entering 2 teams for this year's City Challenge - a day of gruelling physical and mental tasks for which the team has been training hard for neary 10 weeks now.

All entry fees and costs have been covered by ATKINS, so every penny we raise is goin to Leukaemia Research.  We're trying to raise £2000 for this very worthy cause - here are some of the ways YOUR donation will make a difference:

£50 can pay for a pioneering test to measure the number of leukaemic cells in a patients blood.

£200 can buy 200 kits to extract DNA from blood samples to help diagnose cancers more quickly

£600 can pay for an MRD (minimal residual desiese) to test how well a patient is responding to treatment

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support,

Guy Brockdorff
