Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our son Attie Alexander Frier was stillborn on 4th October 2019, it was the worst day of our life and something we'll never get over. We decided early on that we would celebrate Attie's life and go on as many adventures as possible and do good for people, animals and the environment!

Each year around his birthday we do something to raise money in his name and this year we have a 5k walk planned for 9th October at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park!

We aren't doing this alone a few friends and family are joining us to be silly and dress up as animals, couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the very short time our son Attie Alexander Frier spent on this planet!

All friends and family take off at the same time - 8.50am on Sunday 9th October 2022 feel free to book a ticket and join in!

For those that can't make it but want to take part please take a walk in nature and donate to this page.

While walking or running we would like you to pay special attention to nature and any creatures on your journey!! It would be great to see what adventures people have, so if you are tech savvy and have an Instagram account, show us what you have been up to and tag some pictures to: @atties_adventures or #attieswalkofwonder

Enjoying your adventure and thinking about Attie is the most important thing for us, but if you would also like to donate towards our chosen charity, you can. We have chosen Galapagos Conservation Trust as it holds a special place in our hearts.

We hope you have a great time on your walk or run!

Lot's of love Lexi, Rick, Jungle Cat and Reggae Pus! xXxXxXxXx
