August Clarke is proud to be involved with the Great South Run 2012. We'll be running in aid of Cancer Research, a cause close to everyone worldwide.

Our aim is to raise £1000 for charity so please give generously and do your bit to find a cure.

The 2012 team is made of  4 members Sophie Augu, Renaud Clarke Matt Powell and Ben Astill. 

Meet the 2012 A-Team

Sophie

Having seen first hand the devastation that cancer causes it seemed apt to choose Cancer Research as our charity.

Running 10 miles is unconquered territory for me and a big challenge so I hope you will dig deep and donate generously in your support.

Renaud

I'm running because I don't want to grow old and get cancer. If I can help to be a part of that, then all the better. I'm still young enough to put in some good lap times, so try and stop me. I'm built for endurance sports, and have done the London Marathon. I'm hoping I can be of some help to the August Clarke Team to achieve our goals and have some fun, raising money for an excellent cause.

Matt

An honorary part of August Clarke for the day, Matt is good at all sports and keen to do the Marathon so we will see how he gets on with his first 10 mile run!

Ben

Ben has put many hours in to training but unfortunatly due to a work committment he is unable to complete the run on race day. To keep to his pledge he has ran 10 miles this week.
