Hi everyone! We are 2 sisters hoping to help our nephew Zayyan and we need your help! Zayyan was diagnosed with Kernicterus (brain damage caused by high levels of jaundice) at 3 days old. This has resulted in him having Cerebral Palsy.

For the last year Zayyan has been attending Rainbow House for Conductive Education. They have been life changing for him and instrumental in his development. They offer rehabilitation, education and fun for children, young people and adults with neurological conditions such a cerebral palsy. Conductive education teaches skills to empower the person to lead a more active and independent life. Their aim is to help each individual achieve their full potential. Rainbow House receives no statutory funding but has to raise all of its funds to continue and develop its services. It is reliant on fund-raising events, grants and donations which is why we would love to raise some money for this amazing charity.

Many of you who already know us will know how much we love a good wash and blow dry (thank you Bex and George’s!!) but instead of the usual trim we are looking to chop off a big chunk of our hair (17-30cm to be precise!). The actual hair cut off will be donated to the Little Princesses Trust- a charity which transforms hair into wigs they give to children and young girls who have lost their own hair through cancer treatments, for free! By fundraising to get our hair cut, it will allow us to donate the money we raise to Rainbow House. This may not seem like we are doing a massive thing, we get that. But we hope you will look past that and see the small gesture as something worth donating for.
