Judging by the number of miles travelled per hour, labour must be the slowest journey ever, & for some babies the most dangerous! Mothers and babies need careful monitoring to make this jouney safer. Therefore, I am truly delighted to be running the London marathon 2011 to raise money for 'Baby Lifeline', a charity dedicated to the improvement of the quality of care of mothers and babies during pregnancy and childbirth.
