Raising Awareness for Women's rights and Modern Slavery · 29 August 2017

We are the philanthropic arm of Thomson Reuters, the world’s biggest news and information provider. We run free programmes that promote the highest standards in journalism and spread excellence in the practice of legal pro bono worldwide.

Story

My goal is to raise awareness for women's rights and modern slavery/human trafficking and raise funds for The Thomson Reuters Foundation Flagship event Trust Conference (http://www.trustconference.com/).

Thomson Reuters Foundation (https://www.trust.org/) leverages the know-how, reach and reputation of Thomson Reuters to run free programmes that promote the highest standards in journalism and strengthen the rule of law worldwide: free legal assistance through TrustLaw, under-reported news, media development, and the Trust Conference.

The donation will go to Trust Conference Scholorship program (

http://www.trustconference.com/scholarships/

) for front-line human rights a

ctivists across the world to attend the annual conference in 2017.

The Foundation acts as a source of unbiased thought leadership in areas including modern slavery and human trafficking, women’s rights, and climate change and resilience and is an independently registered charity in the US and the UK.
