Story
Hi all,
Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. Since you’re here, you might already be aware that we have decided to challenge ourselves to climb Mount Snowdon to raise money for the UK charity Friends of Bright Eyes (FOBE).
FOBE is a charity that helps provide respite for disabled children aged from 8 and above. The charity runs sessions throughout the week to not only help the learning and development of the children that attend, but also to give the parents and family members a chance to take a breather from the demands of looking after a special need child.
We hope that we can raise enough money to help aid the charity to purchase their own centre so they can continue to have these great sessions and also increase the number of children they can take on.
FOBE is a charity dear to our heart as we have been volunteering actively with them for nearly 10 years now and over this period of time we have gotten to know some the children personally and can honestly say FOBE do some great work to help these children who may not have as many opportunities to interact with other children as children who do not have any special needs. FOBE is their social life and is also a mean of time out from their every day life.
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible to help this charity to ensure that future generations who require help, have the help available to them. We also would personally love to see the development of FOBE and see the Luton based charity go from strength to strength in helping the children using the service now and any future generations who contact the charity for help.
Please donate however little or big your donation, it will be much appreciated by us and everybody at the charity.
