Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page in aid of the Nepal Disaster Relief effort.

Scott Bushell is raising funds to help pay for and deliver relief aid to the more remote vilages in Nepal that have been devastated by the recent earthquakes.  Over 8000 people are beleived to have lost their lives with countless others injured and without food, water, medical supplies and shelter.

At the end of May Scott will be flying out to Nepal to spend time in the Dhada Gau village in Mahendra Jyoti to support the logistics of food and aid distribution and much needed shelter building ahead of the forthcoming monsoon season.

The relief charity Sikh Relief  are leading a coalition of  aid charity organisations that are concentrating their collective efforts on efficiently converting donations into much needed supplies that are delivered by their volunteers at the point-of-need to the most remote villages.  They already have an established volunteer team on the ground in Nepal and  have also secured suppliers, logistics routes, vehicles, trades people and are now progressing towards their initial target of building 100 shelters in Mahendra Jyoti.

There will be a quiz night and raffle at The Lamplighter pub in Northampton on Tuesday 9th June @6pm.  Please come along to support!  All proceeds towards the Nepal Disaster Relief effort.

Thank you for your support.
