Bardet-Biedl Syndrome (BBS) is rare. Living with BBS can be tough and isolating. Symptoms include sight loss, obesity and emotional and learning difficulties, among many other symptoms.

BBS UK are a fantastic small charity working hard to support those living with BBS. In addition to providing support and information, they organise events and activities to reduce isolation and provide social opportunities. Growing up with BBS is particularly difficult and young people benefit hugely from attending the BBS UK Activity Weekend where they have the chance to meet other youngsters coping with the challenges the syndrome and life can bring.

BBS UK need our support to be able to subside this invaluable weekend, so more families can benefit. I would love to take on an epic and demanding challenge for this incredible group of people, and one day I will... for now though, the Santa Run will have to do...

There will be an early Sunday morning alarm... it will be cold....I will be dressed as Santa Claus... I will run 5 kilometres...
