The aim of SPACE is to provide a local, fun, safe and accessible environment in which children with additional needs can play whilst supporting the whole family. In February 2020 we opened a Fully accessible centre with a sensory room & soft play so that we can support more families.

Story

I wasn’t going to set up a page this time but then I remembered I haven’t harassed anyone for money for a while as I’ve had 2 babies in the last 2 years ... so I’m back!

I’ve known Craig & Jemma since 2008 when I worked with Craig and then our eldest children were born a few months apart. I’ve stayed in contact with them and although we don’t work together anymore, I’ve followed their story as a family over the past 10 years.

As a parent I can only imagine what they go through each and every day. Their second child, Isabelle, was born with a life limiting conditon, Mitochondrial disease, but what I find truly remarkable is despite all the heartache and stress they have to deal with they have put their heart and soul into also setting up SPACE.

SPACE provides an opportunity to play safely for children with additional needs but also for their siblings too! As well as offering a support group for parents and carers.

Please if you have anything to spare, donate to this wonderful charity 😘
