As you all are probably aware, our daughter Lucy was born with very complicated heart defects and had operations as a baby. She then went on to receive a heart transplant in 2006.

I'm taking part in the Dragon Boat Challenge which the CHF are organising as an end to Children's Heart Week. I will be in the Trustees boat.

I thought it would be nice to try to give back some of what they've done for us as a family over the years.
