Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page. Donating through Just Giving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with Just Giving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. This year The Bright Horizons Foundation for Children in the UK and Ireland is celebrating its tenth anniversary. We now support over 7,000 children who are experiencing disadvantage. To mark our important milestone we are launching a BOLD and BRAVE cycle challenge and DREAMing big. The Challenge will see seven brave Bright Horizons colleagues cycling from our most Northern nursery in Aberdeen, Scotland on May 6th ending at The Grand Hotel, Brighton on May 19th for the start of the 2015 Awards of excellence event - a 750 mile challenge, which includes over 34,000 feet of climbing! Our fantastic cyclists are Jeremy Clark, Cheryl Zanni, Lee Latter, James Sharrod, Brian Halstead, Nick Collins and Caley Rankin. Our Nursery and support teams up and down the country will be supporting the team with thier usual enthusiastic and wacky fundraising.

About the charity

We create Bright Spaces; enriching play environments for children experiencing crisis and disadvantage. Our Bright Spaces are in domestic refuges, homeless shelters, child protection interview suites, hopitals and prisons. They enable children to have fun, learn and heal from trauma through play.
