We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

On 20th October Felix Lindley, Myla Taylor, Ruby Clayton, Herbie Radley and Theo and Oscar Bradbury will be running the kids version of the Great Birmingham Run, a 1.5km race for 3-8 year olds. They are doing this to raise money for a charity very close to our hearts, Birmingham Children's Hospital. It was here that my son Freddie had his life saving heart surgery as a baby and where he will go to have further surgery in the future. Freddie is now a healthy, happy and very energetic two year old but without Birmingham Children's hospital and it's team of amazing surgeons and nurses he wouldn't be here. Many of you will know of other children that have been treated at this wonderful hospital. It would be fantastic if you could spare a few pennies to help raise some much needed funds. Thank you.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
