We raise funds to support the homeless and assist refugees

Story

BNI Rossett are a team of professionals based in north Wales who come together on a weekly basis to help grow their business, develop themselves personally and professionally and support each other to achieve goals and objectives.

As part of our team culture we have chosen SHARE (Supporting Homeless Assisting Refugees Everywhere) as our charity of choice and will be climbing Snowdon on the 17th July 2021 to raise much needed funds for the Share Advocacy Team.

After extensive time in lockdown due to the global pandemic this will be no easy task. It will take months of preparation and a lot of grit and determination on the day.

We are passionate about achieving this challenge. When it's tough we know it won't be as tough as cold nights on a street when you're homeless or hungry, scared and alone as a refugee.

Share's aims are simple - we support families in crisis and people who are homeless in North Wales and Cheshire and we assist refugees fleeing for their lives, wherever they are in the world.

"At Share we help people who are homeless to identify their needs and make a plan to get their lives back on track. The Share Advocacy Team take time to establish a relationship of trust, and then walk alongside our homeless friends to access services, technology and support, and empower them to move their lives forwards. Share have had great success in this area and this service really changes lives."

The estimated cost to run the Advocacy Team is around £50,000 and we want to help raise a minimum of £5,000 towards that.

Message from Debra Webb, Chairperson for Share -

"We can't thank you enough in advance for this support. The Advocacy Team changes lives every minute of every day. Each £££ that's donated really makes a difference. Whether that's a few ££ that would be a cup of coffee or percentage of a businesses CSR budget. It all matters and it all counts. Thank you."

Business sponsorship opportunities are also available for this walk -

  1. Sponsor £100 and you will get a social media shout out before the walk to say thanks. Your business will be tagged and it will be shared by various members of the team along with Share.
  2. Sponsor £250 and you will get the above plus a short video shout out from the summit of Snowdon on the day that can be used for your marketing purposes.
  3. Sponsor £500 and the team will take a flag with your logo (flag supplied by yourself) for a team image along with the first 2 points.
  4. Other opportunities can be crafted depending on your budget and requirements. Please email jason@jasonrawles.com to discuss.
