Story

The players of Ballymena United FC have been discussing what they would be doing in recognition of the fight against the COViD-19 virus, and came up with the 'cash 4 tache' challenge - a take on the popular 'Movember' fundraiser.

Now they want as many supporters to also grow their moustache up until the 2nd of May, the date that was set for the Irish Cup Final, the traditional end of the season.

This would be symbolic for how long we have been without football, and thus how long we have been fighting against this virus, with again all funds to go to supporting the frontline NHS staff.

We'll also be using this opportunity to check in with the players over the next few weeks to find out how they are finding this unprecedented time, and why it's important to them to show their support to the NHS.

Any amount of donations are greatly appreciated.
