Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The British Hen Welfare Trust is a national charity that finds caring pet homes for commercial laying hens destined for slaughter.  They also educate the public about how they can make a difference to hen welfare and, at the same time, encourage support for the British egg industry.  Their ultimate aim is to see all commercial laying hens enjoy a good quality free range life.  Since the charity was founded in 2005 nearly 500,000 hens have been given a chance to enjoy a free range retirement.
