Alexia has been diagnosed with severe deformational plagiocephaly (known as Flat Head Syndrome) and moderate brachycephaly.  To correct this condition Alexia requires a custom made helmet to be worn for 23 hours a day, unfortunately this treatment is not currently available on the NHS.
