As you all know, Kylie is pregnant and her baby’s due to arrive on 7th Jan 2012. During the FRM X’mas party (which was organized by Kylie – woo hoo par-tay!), a few of us have been going around registering your donation/pledges in taking part in Kylie’s Baby Sweepstakes.  To those who hasn’t donate, now’s the time to fulfill your pledges! That night, a few colleagues (ahem, who shall remain nameless) questioned our methodology when it comes to deciding the winner. Being the keen actuaries that we are, we were on our way to producing pages upon pages of rules and methodology.  As much as we love to share our handiwork, we realized it may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Rather than hypnotise you to near-comatose state with “The Rule Book”, we’ve condensed and summarised it into the following:

5 Golden Rules of Baby Sweepstakes 

1. With £5 donation, you can make one guess.

2. With £10 donation, you can make three guesses.

3. Each guess must cover three aspects:

a) baby's gender (m or f)

b) baby's arrival date

c) baby's weight (in lb & oz or kg)

4. Winner will be the individual who guesses all three correctly. Should there be more than one individual who guesses the baby’s gender and arrival date correctly, the winner shall be decided by the baby’s weight (the one closest to the actual weight will win).

5. Prize: 10% of total donation in the form of Amazon voucher.
