A team of 10 from Balfour Beatty will take on the Big Ben challenge (12 miles from Putney Bridge to Westminster and back) in canoes and kayaks. All of the money that we raise will go to Mates in Mind who aim to raise awareness, address the stigma of poor mental health and promote positive mental wellbeing across workplaces. There is no doubt that this will be a tough challenge but for a fantastic cause which is changing not only the construction industry but workplaces across the UK.
