Bana's heading to Bangladesh

VSO ICS** · 31 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 ·
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and hear my story.
ICS is giving me an opportunity of a life time, a chance to help communities in Bangladesh through volunteering. I will be volunteering abroad with a charity called VSO. VSO works through volunteers to fight poverty in developing countries. The volunteers' skills, knowledge and sheer enthusiasm make lasting and far reaching change in the world's poorest communities. I am fundraising in support of all VSO funded projects, which benefit around 2 million people every year.
Additionally, I am one of the lucky and excited volunteers who will be volunteering abroad for 3 months in February 13th 2017. I will be guiding and assisting those who are in need of help in getting out of poverty by transferring useful skills that will enable them to achieve their goals. By donating to my page you are not paying for just one placement, you are supporting all of VSO’s vital work, enabling them to continue to change the world through the power of volunteering.
If one team of volunteers can help a community get out of poverty through knowledge and skills transfer, imagine how much 100 can do! This is why donating to VSO is so important as skills and knowledge transfer is giving them the means to help themselves.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and hopefully you will be kind enough or better yet, itching to donate anything you can and/or help spread the word in order for VSO to continuously do what they do through volunteers.
