Banger Rally 2016 · 16 September 2016

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

The Credit Suisse Banger Rally is back for a fifth year. This year more than 30 Banger Rally teams will travel from Canary Wharf office in London to Wroclaw in Poland, via Leipzig, Germany. Setting off on Friday 16th September teams will drive a banger worth no more than £500 aiming to raise as much as possible for the NSPCC. The team fund the cost of the challenge including the car, insurance, fuel and travel costs.

By donating you will be helping the NSPCC deliver their 'Speak out. Stay safe.' service to primary schools. This provides children with the knowledge and understanding they need to keep themselves safe from abuse and neglect, and where to turn to should they need support.

The research tells us that on average two
children in every primary school class in the country are abused and/or neglected. The NSPCC's aim is to ensure that no child is in this position. The service will be delivered to every primary school child twice before they are 11 years old ensuring that all children have the knowledge to speak out and stay safe.

Thank you from Oliver, James, Shayne and Simon.
