Story

Working at Bradford City Football Club, the Bradford Burns Unit Appeal is something that is close to my heart.

Myself and some friends will be trekking 73 miles from Lincoln City football club to Valley Parade on Friday 24th of April in under 24 hours in memory of the 54 Bradford fans and the 2 Lincoln fans that tragically lost their lives in the Bradford City fire. It's the 30th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion we've decided to walk from Lincoln, meeting up with Barnsley fans en route, and ending up at Valley Parade before our final home game against them at the end  of the season. Also joining us on the walk will be some of our Junior Bantams. They will be either walking the 5 miles from Tong High school or 1 mile from the City centre.

Bradford City football club has strong ties with the burns unit after all their hard work that they did after the fire on the 11th May 1985 and to mark the 30th anniversary the Football League and supporters are aiming to raise £300,000.

Thank you for any donation, no matter how big or small, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Big G.
