Causeway Coast Challenge · 7 September 2019 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

At the moment, there are three men who take up most of my life. Two I love dearly. My hubby Norman and my late brother George ❤️

The other I don’t even like.. He’s referred to by me as MR. P😡

In March 2017 I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, a chronic debilitating neurological condition for which there is NO CURE. Life before Mr. P and life currently is very different and certainly challenging . Despite giving me a rough ride, turning my life upside down and leaving a future full of uncertainty I work as best I can to keep Mr. P. at bay.  I try not to sit in a corner and mope, hence trying to walk a bit of the Causeway Coast Challenge. I’m realistic that there’s no way I’ll complete even one leg , but I’ve a great hubby who has volunteered, or should I say has been volunteered 🙂. I’m hoping to get a team together of either 7 or 11 when we will put our BEST foot forward and raise both awareness and funds to ultimately end Parkinson’s..Every hour , two people I’m the UK are told they have Parkinson's. A shocking statistic which I never thought I would be a part of.

TOGETHER WE CAN BRING FORWARD THE DAY WHEN NO ONE FEARS PARKINSON’S
