Instead of flowers which Matt didn't want, the family decided to remember all the work that Matt had done in his life to help people, often those in recovery. Red Rose Recovery was chosen because of the good work that they are already involved in and, being a small charity, how difficult it is for them to get funding... something Matt had very much appreciated about charitable work.
