My Mum died from a type of Gynaecological Cancer. She was admitted to hospital on the 12th Feb 2015 after several operations in 2014. She was told that this cancer had spread (rare for this type to do so) and was now untreatable. On the 26th Feb she was moved to the Countess Mountbatten Hospice where she stayed for 5 weeks. On the 2nd April she moved to Little Haven Nursing Home in Dibden Purlieu. She sadly passed away on the 19th April. 

She was loved by everyone who knew her and had lots of visitors during her time in the hospital, hospice and nursing home. A girls night in was arranged when she went into the Countess Mountbatten. It may have only lasted an hour but I'm so glad that we did it. It now means so much.
