The SCT's mission is to provide high quality ‘Home from Home’ accommodation for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment for serious illness. Today, the charity has seven ‘Home from Homes’ at major paediatric hospitals around the country, each providing clean comfortable accommodation for families with seriously ill children.

Every £25 raised (or saved on their behalf) pays for a family to stay in one of their houses for a night, and £9,000 would fund one room for a year, which would allow approximately 36 families to stay near their sick child.

For every £ raised, Barclays will match that so your money will go even further than you think - just imagine what your donation could mean to one of the families.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UKtaxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

 This year 9 volunteers from Barclays Legal and Compliance Operations team are raising money for the Sick Children Trust by attempting to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within a set period of time over a weekend (the aim is 24hrs!).  The mountains in question are: Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales).
