For April 2021, the team at Barefoot Coaching will be collectively walking and running 700 miles to raise vital funds for our charity partner, Women's Work Derby. 

Since 2003, the charity has been working to improve the health and wellbeing of disadvantaged and vulnerable women. By taking part we will be helping women and children in Derbyshire to develop the skills and self-belief they need to reduce the risk of further harm, and to overcome barriers such as substance misuse and poor mental health. 

Women's Work provide personalised programmes of support to improve mental well-being, support access to other services, and act as a springboard to a better quality of life. 

What your money will buy:

• £10.00 pays for a food parcel for one person for three days
• £12.00 pays for a woman to attend one session of the Freedom Programme designed for survivors of domestic abuse. £120 covers the 10-week course.
• £25.00 helps a woman attend one session of our Parenting course. £150 allows her to attend the full course and become the best parent she can be, giving her children a better start in life.
• £30.00 will pay for a Counselling session by a qualified psychotherapist to help a woman recover from all types of trauma and abuse.
