We are raising money for The Meningitis Trust, as earlier this year Barney's son Lewis was struck down with Meningitis. Thankfully he survived, but as a result he now suffers from Epilepsy.

Other families are not so lucky. Meningitis kills more under-fives than any other infectious disease in this country and up to 500,000 people living in the UK have had either viral or bacterial meningitis. Those that do survive are often left with after-effects including deafness, blindness, cerebral palsy, limb loss (where septicaemia is involved), learning difficulties, memory issues and behavioural problems.

The Meningitis Trust is there to help and support those families that are affected by this awful disease, and if we can raise £750 our employers will then double it so we will have raised over £1500 for this fantastic charity.
