 180 Miles!

We will be cycling from London to Paris between the 12th and 15th July 2012 in order to raise money for our chosen charity St Lukes Hospice, Basildon.

See our itinery below:

Day 1, London - Newhaven, apx 96 kms (60 miles).
Early departure from Greenwich Park. Travel south into the countryside past Sevenoaks and Gatwick Airport, then down to the Sussex coast and Newhaven. Stopover at accommodation in Newhaven before embarking on our ferry crossing in the morning to Dieppe

Day 2, Dieppe - Gournay-en-Bray, apx74km (46miles)
After our morning ferry crossing to Dieppe, today we head through the pretty French countryside on quiet, undulating roads. We pass by the picturesque town of Saint-Saens. We continue through the postcard French countryside until we reach Gournay.

Day 3, Gournay-en-Bray - Paris, apx 115km (77miles)
Today is a more challenging ride, although the beautiful countryside should take your mind off of it! We will pass by the town of Boisemont. From here we start to meet the city as we cycle through the busy suburbs. As we near the city centre you will be greeted by all of Paris’ famous sites such as the Arc De Triomph and the Eiffel Tower. We have reached our destination!

We are hoping to raise £10,000 so please dig deep and donate now to show your support!

Thank you from all the Barratt Eastern Counties Team
