Story

Hi All,

In April 2011 I watched one of my friends complete the London Marathon and was overwhelmed with the compassion of every single runner and pledged that one day I would go for it myself. Well April 22nd 2012 is that 'day' when Karen and I will take the plunge and run (or jog/walk/crawl!!!!) the 26 mile London Marathon.

Karen and I are raising money for NSPCC and hope to raise £2,000.

The NSPCC is a children's charity that has inspired us to run the marathon knowing we can make a difference for all children. The NSPCC aims to end cruelty to children in the UK. Even if it takes many generations to realise it, we are honoured to help contribute to this great chartiy.

If you wish to make a donation now then it couldn't be easier. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate anything you can!

We would appreciate seeing friendly faces along the way, so if you are able to make it to London then please let us know where you are planning to stand and we will keep an eye out for you.
