Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of my family have succumbed to cancer over the years. Back in the 70's - when I was a kid (believe it or not!) - the chances of survival weren't great. Today, things have improved tremendously and the survival rate is that much higher.

Sadly, not all cancer can be cured - yet. And when this is the case, charities like Macmillans really do make all the difference. Allowing patients to spend their last days in dignity, with care and compassion whilst providing vital support to those closest to them.

A cure for cancer WILL be found. We WILL beat it. But until then, please help to support this wonderful organisation and allow more people to spend what time they have left with their loved ones, without further stress brought about by the uncertainties and worries brought on by the practical, day-to-day things like finances etc
