Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.

It's my second marathon this year(and last!) and this time I want to use the opportunity to raise funds and awareness to Max appeal.

MA supports those affected by DiGeorge syndrome,VCFS an 22q 11.2 deletion and their families.

These are a complex and varied group of conditions causing a wide variety of serious life threatening symptoms.

22q deletion affects as many as 1 in 1800 people so is more common than people realise.

Max appeal aims to improve quality of life of all those affected by 22q deletion by raising awareness of this common chromosome defect and to bring about permanent improvements in the social and medical care of people with 22q deletion.

So please give any amount you can in support of this amazing charity and I'll run as fast as I can in the Yorkshire marathon!
