Open Doors provides practical support like food, medicine, housing, clean water and education as well as micro-loans to start businesses to persecuted Christians worldwide. We also provide Bibles, Christian literature, training, literacy programmes and trauma training. We work in over 50 countries.

Story

Over 100,000 Iraqi Christians have been forced to flee rape, murder and torture at the hands of the IS "Islamic State" in the last few weeks. They are now in a desperate situation in the northern Kurdish area.

With your help Open Doors can get aid packs to these people, Each pack costs £70 and sustains a typical family of four for a month. Our fundraising target will help 75 families survive for a month and hopefully set an example to others to do likewise.

We are holding a fundraising evening in Cheltenham at 630 pm on Thursday September 4 at Montpellier House, 33 Montpellier Terrace, Cheltenham GL50 1UX

Meet Martin Horwood MP as well as local traders and residents for an evening of great wine and nibbles at this gorgeous venue in Montpellier.

Auction prizes include a Guided Tour of the Houses of Commons with local MP Martin Horwood with tea on the MPs Terrace at Westminster. There are over 25 amazing raffle prizes donated by local, independent shops and businesses in Cheltenham.
