Story
Why
Nicaragua?
Nicaragua is one of the poorest countries in the western
hemisphere which faces many challenges - including access to clean, safe
water!
What will you be doing?
On September 26th, I will venture of to Nicaragua for 12 weeks.
There, I will be living with a host family in Nicaragua in a rural
community area to help provide safe water and increase the sanitation of the
area. Working and living with the local community means that Raleigh
is able to provide long-term sustainable support to those affected by these
conditions, rather than just immediate relief.

Why do you need the money?
Although
this volunteering experience is funded by the Government (thank you!), ICS
still need the volunteers to fundraise 10% of the cost, being £800 in this
case. All money goes directly to Raleigh and the great work they do.
Any donation by you guys will be truly, deeply, greatly appreciated, from 5p to £100....

THANK YOU so much for checking out this page. I cannot begin to share with everyone how overwhelmed I am with this opportunity to give a little back to society and to learn more about the world. For those of you who know me, you will know how this is something that I have wanted to do for years.
Anything you guys can donate (including for the raffle) will make a huge difference!
If you any questions, please ask!!
