Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, set up by Chris (Bean) and Chris (Moz), dedicated to a wonderful man, and dear friend, Nic Murray.

We lost a true great on the 8th January this year.  Nic heartbreakingly lost his battle with cancer and was taken from us way too soon.

Nic was a true fighter right to the very end, and a massive inspiration to so many. Since his diagnosis of cancer, Nic was constantly raising awareness concerning cancer and throughout his treatment he was fundraising for a charity he held close to his heart. 

We wanted to honour Nic’s courage, determination and strength by raising as much money as possible for Maggie’s Centre, so we are setting ourselves a running challenge. See below for more background info on Maggie’s Centre.

We’re not as fit as we used to be; but we still wanted to push ourselves for this challenge, and hope people will get behind us. To see donations coming for an amazing cause will spur us on, no end.

The 5 week running challenge:

Between us we will run the distance of 10 marathons over a consecutive 5 week period. This means we’ll be pretty much running everyday for 5 weeks until we hit our joint goal of 422km.

Starting: 1st March 

Completing: 5th April

Maggie’s offers the best possible support free to anyone with cancer and their families who walk through our doors. You'll find their  centres alongside NHS hospitals and they can also support you online.
