I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Zambia, Africa with my daughter Madelyn to serve and love on the people in the area of Choma. 

Watermark Wesleyan has been sending teams of folks to this particular area for years now to work alongside a non for profit called Poetice International (poetice.org). The relationship we have built with these folks and the community has been life changing on both ends and it is a JOY to get to get a first hand glimpse of the ministry I have prayed for and supported over the years. 

Choma is the province capital of the southern province. It is a market town known for farming and has a population of nearly 300,000 people. Our trip will include ministering to the community of Choma, as well as doing hospital and possible prison work. 

I humbly ask for your support and prayers as I say "Yes" to this invitation. It is not only a "yes" to physically traveling to Africa and setting aside 10+ days to serve away from my family, but a "yes" to accepting the invitation to trust God more through this mission. It is an opportunity to practically see the provision of God in my life, which I need frequent reminders of these days. I want to see, experience and be a part of His expansive might, power and love at work in the world. I need my eyes to be continually lifted to the fresh perspective that He has it ALL in His hands.

Please specifically pray for fundraising efforts for myself and Madelyn. It is obviously not an opportunity we could make work on our own. 

Please pray that I would get a full measure of God's extravagant love, comfort and provision so I can continue the faithful work has has called me to in my family, community and world. 

Please pray for the JOY of the Lord to be my strength as we prepare for the trip in the coming months, that fear would swiftly be handed over to God and that my trust in Him grows more each day.
