Story

Some people have a mid life crisis at 50, I decided to make it 30 and therefore decided to say goodbye to my 20s this year by doing as many new challenges as I could in a year.  It started last September with the 3 Peaks challenge and since then I've undertaken a number of new sporting events and challenges.  I'm now finishing the year with a trip to the seaside with 4 other friends.

The swim around Brownsea Island in Poole is 4.6 miles (about 300 lengths) and seems a good way to spend a Sunday morning in July to me.

I have been doing all of this stuff for my own personal enjoyment so I thought it was about time I did something worthwhile with it as well, so I would be extremely grateful if you would sponsor me.

Ataxia UK is a charity close to my heart as a very good friend of mine suffers from Friedreich's Ataxia and I know any money will be very gratefully received.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
