As part of my job as Fundraising Officer at Cornwall Air Ambulance, I help and support our fundraisers who take part in our challenge events. I've seen the amount of effort people put into both the fundraising aspect and the physical side of the challenge and thought it was about time I did the same!
I've always fancied this type of trek - I think trekking through the sands of the desert will be fantastic, if quite hard work! I recently trekked along the Great Wall of China with the charity and loved the experience so I'm so excited to be taking on this next challenge for Cornwall Air Ambulance.

As the only air ambulance helicopter based in Cornwall, the helicopter and crew attend around 700 emergency missions every year, helping people in their time of need. The whole service is run by donations from the public as the charity receives no central government funding to help with running costs.
